Dude Tool's Nut Busters High Impact Sockets for Hex Nuts allows the bolt to travel over 7", the deepest on the market. These sockets are great for tightening or breaking nuts. The 1/2" Drive End and the Socket End are CAST with S-5 Striking Steel, then HEAT TREATED for SUPERIOR STRENGTH. The ends are then FUSED onto pipe and become a single piece unit (no breaking points) that is fully balanced so there is no wobble (easier on the impact and the user). Each size is marked with dimensional nut size and bolt size. Designed to be used and abused for Heavy Impact Work with air or electric impacts. The patented 6-point Wright Drive is, in effect, a careful blending of Wright’s 12-point design with the heavy-duty gripping characteristics of a traditional 6-point wrench opening. It offers many of the same advantages of the 12-point design, including greater strength, more torque and reduced rounding of the fastener corners. The main advantage of the 6-pt. design is its gripping power. The Wright Drive’s minor circle diameter, which is a measure of the ability to grip an undersized fastener, is exactly the same as a traditional 6-point opening. The smaller the diameter, the better the grip on undersized fasteners and fasteners with badly rounded corners.
